2020-21 BMCC Athletics Schedules Released
PENDLETON, Ore. - The official 2020-21 NWAC athletic schedules have been finalized and released for baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball**, and soccer. The men's and women's rodeo schedules are in process of being finalized and will be announced at a later date from the Northwest Region.
Volleyball will be kicking off the 2021 season on the road to Yakima on February 13th, 2021.
**Basketball will be playing at home on February 13th, 2021 to open their season pending the decisions made by the governor's office as current COVID-19 restrictions prevent basketball from being played in Oregon. Under current Oregon COVID-19 restrictions, basketball would not be allowed to play in the state of Oregon unless otherwise instructed or restrictions are lifted by the governor's office**
The baseball team will start their conference play on March 14th, 2021 against Spokane at home. There will also be several non-conference games on the schedule for BMCC baseball that will be finalized at a later date.
The softball team will kick off their NWAC east division play against Treasure Valley at home on March 14th, 2021.
The soccer teams will be split on the road to kick off their conference play with the women's team taking on Yakima Valley on the road, and the men's team taking on Wenatchee on the road on March 27th, 2021. Both soccer teams will be playing a twelve game conference schedule with on the region champion and second place finisher qualifying for the NWAC playoffs. The championship location will be annoucned at a future date.
All athletics non-conference games will be played against opponents located within the NWAC east division to comply with COVID-19 rules and regulations. All student-athletes will report back to Pendleton, OR to begin grey phase quarantine on January 3rd, 2021.
